About Nathan Recta

Nathan's journey in law is as unique as it is inspiring. Raised in a military family, he enlisted in the Army in 2009, serving honorably for over a decade before retiring in 2019. His final assignment was at the Virginia Military Institute (VMI). With a continued desire to serve, Nathan pursued a law degree at the Appalachian School of Law, graduating in 2022. His vision of serving the local community led him to pass the Virginia Bar and establish his own practice in Staunton, serving the greater Blue Ridge Mountain area. 

Expertise and Certifications

Nathan's diverse certifications include roles as a mediator, public notary, and court-appointed attorney for misdemeanors. While he has a particular passion for criminal law, Nathan's expertise extends to various legal areas, including wills and property.
